CROC-CUT (together with our affiliates, “CROC-CUT”, “Sign Supplies China Pty Ltd”, “us”, “we”) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for CROC-CUT websites, online locations, and social media (collectively, the “Sites”).

 

CROC-CUT GLOBAL INTERNET PRIVACY POLICY

 

It is CROC-CUT’s policy to comply with all applicable privacy and data protection laws. This commitment reflects the value we place on earning and keeping the trust of our employees, customers, business partners and dealers, and others who share their personal information with us.

 

This Global Internet Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how CROC-CUT protects your privacy when we collect personal information on CROC-CUT Sites. By using any CROC-CUT Sites or providing personal information to us, you and any legal entity or entities you represent and/or are using the Sites on behalf of (referred collectively herein as “you” or “your”) are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Policy and any applicable Country or Privacy Statements.

 

If you do not consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Policy (and any applicable Country or Privacy Statements), do not use CROC-CUT Sites. Instead contact CROC-CUT (See Contact Us below).

 

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE GATHER FROM THOSE WHO VISIT OUR SITE?

 

When you visit our Sites, you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose, and information that we automatically collect as you browse our Sites.

 

Information You Voluntarily Submit. We collect and store any information you enter on our Sites, or provide to us in offline contacts we have with you. Information is collected from visitors to the Sites in the following areas:

 

  • REGISTRATION FORMS – If you register for Support, which allows you to access our knowledgebase and user forums, or for specific services, or newsletters in various areas of the Sites, we will generally ask you to provide contact information, information about any products you have and preferences regarding the Support or service for which you desire to register, access and use (where applicable). You may, however, visit our Sites without registering but may not be able to participate in certain functionality or obtain certain information.

 

  • ORDER FORMS – Some areas of the Sites may allow you to order products or services, whether or not for a fee. In connection with these transactions we collect data necessary to complete these transactions that is furnished by you. This may include contact information, email address, telephone number, your credit card, your driver’s license, social security or other identifying numbers and any other relevant information.

 

  • OTHER FORMS – Some areas of the Sites may allow you to engage with our business units and/or product development and ongoing research teams. In connection with these communications, we collect data necessary to complete and/or continue these communications that is furnished by you. This may include contact information, email address, telephone number, your credit card number and any other relevant information.

 

  • SURVEYS – At times, you may be asked to complete survey questions that appear on the Sites.

 

  • EMPLOYMENT APPLICATIONS – You may submit information related to job opportunities with CROC-CUT. Please note that your submission of pre-employment information may be further governed by specific provisions that appear on the Career Opportunities section of our Sites.

 

  • DISCUSSION FORUMS – We may make forums, FAQ, knowledgebase, message boards, and/or news groups available to our users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

 

  • EMAIL – In several areas of our sites, you also have an opportunity to communicate with us by email. You may also choose to provide your email address to receive communications from us or third parties.

 

  • SOFTWARE PIRACY – Software Piracy is a matter we take very seriously since it harms not only our businesses but the global economy more generally and stifles research and development. If you know of any piracy and decide to report it to us you may do so anonymously. We will not record any of your personal details and will destroy any record of your IP address. If, however, you wish to help us pursue an individual or other legal entity who is engaged in Software Piracy you are encouraged to provide your contact details so the appropriate authorities can contact you for you to provide them with specific details which may be used in a prosecution and possible conviction of such offender(s). If you choose to report piracy and do provide us with your contact details, you hereby acknowledge and agree with CROC-CUT that it may in its absolute discretion provide any and all information you provide to the appropriate authorities.

 

Information Collected and Stored Automatically. When you browse our Sites, you and your Web browser may also transmit information that we automatically collect. We do log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer), the Web pages you visit and the time of your visit, and other click-stream data. This information may be combined with other personal information you have provided and with any CROC-CUT related Software you may have installed on your computer that may communicate directly with our Servers. The other type of information automatically provided to us is the type of computer, operating system and browser you are using. This information is provided by your browser, which we use to improve the performance of our site.

 

We may also place small data files, called “cookies,” in the browser file of your computer’s hard drive. These cookies automatically identify your browser to our server whenever you interact with the Sites. We use the cookies to record Sites statistics. Most browsers automatically accept the cookies, but you usually can change your browser setting to prevent the acceptance of cookies.

 

Certain pages of this Sites may not function properly if you choose not to accept cookies.

 

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

STATISTICAL USE

We may also use your information to validate, verify and update any Product and/or Software Licenses you have with CROC-CUT, our Affiliates and/or our Authorized Dealers in accordance with any Software License Agreement and/or EULA you have entered into with us or our suppliers.

 

DISCLOSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OTHERS

 

Except in the limited circumstances stated in this paragraph, we do not sell, rent, license, trade or otherwise disclose the personal information of our Sites visitors to unrelated third parties. We may disclose your information to service providers and/or our suppliers who assist us in facilitating and/or operating the Sites and/or conducting our business. We may also share such information among our subsidiaries and affiliates as necessary to provide you with the information and services you request or in which you may otherwise be interested. We may create links to other Sites that we think may be of interest to you. We do not endorse any other Sites, and our privacy policy applies only to your use of our Sites. Since we are committed to your privacy and security, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to attempt to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online to a reasonable commercial standard. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us or from us, and you do so at your own risk. When you place an order or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. Once we receive your transmission, we use our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems, but we disclaim and deny any liability to you or any other party (See Legal under this Sites’s: Terms of Use).

 

ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

You may review, correct and update the personal information that you provide to us at a CROC-CUT Sites by using the User Profile form provided at the CROC-CUT Sites.

 

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

CROC-CUT retains the personal information collected on CROC-CUT Sites as long as necessary to provide the services, products, subscriptions and information you request or as permitted by applicable law.

 

CHILDREN AND PARENTS

 

CROC-CUT Sites are generally not intended for persons under 13 years of age. CROC-CUT does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children on its Sites except as permitted under applicable law. If your child has submitted personal information and you would like to request that such information be deleted from our records, you may do so by writing to privacy@croc-cut.com.

 

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY AND OUR PRIVACY STATEMENTS

 

CROC-CUT reserves the right to update or modify the Policy, at any time and without prior notice, by posting the revised version of the Policy on our CROC-CUT Sites. We also reserve the right to update or modify our Country specific or Privacy Statements, at any time and without prior notice, by posting the revised Privacy Statement on the applicable CROC-CUT Sites. If we modify the Policy or any Privacy Statement, the modifications will only apply to the personal information we collect after we have posted the revised Policy or Privacy Statement on the applicable CROC-CUT Sites.

 

OPT IN/OPT OUT

 

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor. You have the following options for reviewing or removing your information from our database to no longer receive communication from us. If you request your account information be deleted from our database, we may maintain information about individual sales transactions for recordkeeping and servicing.
